Gold investors in 2019-20 Series VI SGB can redeem bonds early starting Oct 30, 2026, priced by recent gold rates.
The Government of India has permitted premature redemption of Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) 2019-20 Series VI, issued on October 30, 2019, from October 30, 2026, after completion of five years. Redemption will be priced using the simple average closing price of 999 purity gold from the three business days prior to redemption, aligning valuation with current market rates.
