Editorial policy: sources, AI and corrections

Evidence before conclusions

Prefer original statistical releases, regulator notices, company filings and official announcements for factual claims. Publisher headlines link to the original publisher. We do not treat a repeated claim, a social-media trend or a model response as independent verification. A source may establish an announcement without establishing that the announced transaction has completed.

Automation and AI disclosure

Automated agents collect permitted sources, draft briefs and propose questions. Some checked items may publish automatically. We do not claim that every item receives human review. AI-assisted content must preserve source attribution and uncertainty; an AI model is not itself a factual source. Desk bylines identify this publishing process. Named human bylines should be used only when authorship has been recorded.

Facts, analysis and examples

Label observations with their source and date. Explain assumptions and calculations. Identify illustrative numbers as hypothetical rather than current market data. Community vote shares and practice prices are participation measures, not independently calibrated probabilities or investment recommendations.

Prediction questions and outcomes

Questions need a measurable outcome, closing time, resolution rule and source of truth. Resolution should follow the stated rule and available evidence; ambiguous outcomes should not be forced into a confident answer. Corrections and disputed outcomes can be raised through the contact form with the relevant URL and source records.

Corrections and complaints

Use Contact us with the page URL, the disputed claim and supporting evidence. We aim to acknowledge a request within 48 hours and explain the result within 30 days. Material corrections should identify what changed and the correction date. Updating an article must not silently imply that a new event occurred.

Independence, sponsorship and conflicts

Advertisements and sponsored placements must be labelled. Payment must not determine prediction settlements or remove a factual correction. Founder submissions are claims from the submitter, not independently audited financial statements. Any relevant commercial relationship should be disclosed with the content.

Source and data limitations

Coverage is limited to connected sources. Data may be delayed, revised or unavailable. Social attention is measured only where a named source supplies a defined metric; we do not claim an internet-wide census. Read the financial disclaimer before using research in a decision.
